Some are overwhelmed with several other forms of addiction and may not even realize it is affecting their Mental Health everyday, even to the point of immobilizing them to be productive at work. In this 7-hour course on Mental Health & addiction, you will learn more about dependency and habits and how they impact our lives. 

It's vital to understand what addictions are and why addictions happen. By the end of the workshop you will be better able to support others with the different types of addictions. We will walk through how addiction affects the brain and one's mental health.

By the end of the course, you will feel more confident supporting those in your life/work who are experiencing mental health & addictions. Understanding the changes you could make, can help support you and/or your organization. Maybe your company is looking at putting together an organization-wide approach, including programs and strategies that support employees along the entire spectrum of mental health – from prevention, to risk mitigation, to care – in efforts to raise awareness to eliminate stigma and increase psychological health and safety to improve overall employee and organizational quality and performance.
